Press-on nails are pre-designed, reusable nail tips that you apply at home using nail glue or adhesive tabs. They offer a salon-quality look without the time, cost, or commitment of acrylic or gel enhancements. When applied correctly, press-on nails can last from several days up to two weeks, depending on your lifestyle and application method. They’re easy to remove, gentle on natural nails, and perfect for switching up your style whenever you want.

Finding your perfect nail size is essential for maximizing wear time and achieving the most natural-looking fit. The most preferred and accurate method to find your nail size is to purchase our sizing kit in the nail shape and length you’re interested in. But if you do not wish to purchase a sizing kit, no worries, please refer to our “Nail Sizing” tab to use the “tape method.”

For long-lasting retention, the key is in the prep.
Remove any product from the nail (if any)
File and shape your natural nails with a file (for best results, clip natural nails short and round out the edges)
Push back your cuticle with the cuticle pusher
Buff nails with a nail buffer, especially by the cuticle and sidewall area of the natural nail
Thoroughly wipe nails with an alcohol wipe
Apply and spread out the nail glue on both the nail tip and your natural nail (It’s best to do this one nail at a time)
Press the nail tip from the cuticle area to the free edge and press down for 20-30 sec.
Repeat for all nails
For optimal results, it’s best to keep your hands away from water and not put excessive pressure for about 30 minutes to an hour.
If using sticky tabs, follow steps 1-5. Then match the appropriate sticky tab to your natural nail, making sure that it covers the whole natural nail and doesn’t overlap onto the skin. Once you’ve placed the sticky tab onto the nail, remove the film and press the nail tip onto your natural nail. Repeat for all nails.

With proper nail prep and care, your press-ons should last 1-2 weeks (7-14 days), while some may last 3 weeks with meticulous care and a quality adhesive (nail glue). If using adhesive tabs, they are intended for short-term use, typically lasting 1 to 7 days.

To reduce damage to your natural nails, removing your press-ons should be done gently and using the proper methods.
Adhesive tabs: Use the angled end of the cuticle pusher to gently go under the press-on nail. With a side-to-side motion, go deeper under the nail until you can gently pull the nail tip off. Remove any adhesive residue by twirling it off the nails with the pointy end of the cuticle stick. Picking the adhesive off could damage your natural nail. If needed, buff out any areas that you would like to smooth out.
Nail glue: Soak your hands in a bowl filled with warm, soapy water mixed with oil. It could be any oil that you have at home (i.e essential oil, cooking oil, facial oil, etc.) After 10-15 minutes, use the angled end of the cuticle stick to gently lift the press-on from the cuticle area, moving side-to-side deeper under the nail. Do not force the nail off, since you could potentially damage your natural nail. Keep soaking your hand until the nail feels safe to remove. After removal, buff off the remaining glue residue and apply cuticle oil/moisturizer to hydrate.
An alternate method to soaking your hand is to purchase a nail glue removing solution which you can find on Amazon. Follow removal instructions according to the product.

Of course!
Our press-ons are intended for multiple wears. With proper care, you will find that our press-ons can be reused 3-6 times - sometimes more. But reuse depends on nail length, lifestyle, and proper application/removal. Adhesive tabs are gentler on the nail, so sets can be reused about 6 times or more. But if you prefer longer wear, then nail glue reuse may vary.
Note: We are not responsible for damage caused by improper removal.

To avoid this problem, it’s best to inform us during the consultation period so that we may adjust the nail for you. But if you still find the press-on not to be flush with your natural nail, this is what you can do:
The easiest method is to stack multiple adhesive tabs on your nail (biggest to smallest) until the gap is filled. But if you’d like to use nail glue for longer wear, follow the next paragraph.
Fill a heat-safe cup with warm water and wait until the sides of the cup warm up. Then get your press-on nail that needs adjusting and push the underside against the cup for 15-20 seconds. While the nail is still warm, bend it so that it begins to flatten and expand. Repeat for any nails that need fixing. If you find that the nail now overlaps onto your skin, simply file the sides down a bit until it matches your nail bed. Once you’ve fixed and reshaped your press-ons, you can go ahead and apply them as instructed.
